Treehouse was founded in 2015 by two women who shared a passion for their local food system. Tiring of the additive-filled almond milk they found on the shelves of their local grocery stores, Bess & Kate started making nutmilks from their homes in Atlanta, the city of trees. With their Vitamixes blazing, they whipped up all types of milk, but the best they found came from the nuts growing in their own backyards -- pecans. Grown locally and sustainably, and with more antioxidants than any other tree nut -- not to mention a taste that pairs well with just about anything -- pecans are truly the "supernut." What started as a tiny operation that delivered fresh nut milk in glass jars to homes, farmers markets and coffeeshops around Atlanta, Treehouse Naturals’ clean, simple, and luscious Pecanmilk is now available in easy, recyclable packaging, delighting folks everywhere with this taste of the South. Committed to building a carbon-neutral future, Treehouse is a 1% for the Planet member.
