In a small commercial kitchen in rural NW Wisconsin, Bifrost Kitchen creates elevated food items for wholesale to restaurants, gourmet food stores and other eating establishments. Our flagship products are two compound butters established in European restaurants and not sold anywhere else in the U.S. Joel's Swiss Chef mentor passed these recipes down to him over 30 years ago and now we are introducing them to the rest of the country.
Bifrost Butters are Café de Paris Steak Butter, named for and inspired by the restaurant of the same name in Geneva Switzerland, and Bourgogne, a rich garlic herb butter that creates a mind-blowing sauce when used with seafood, lamb or vegetables.
